its official....after throwing ONLY Track equipment for 4 years, I've finally broke out and left all together.

It was fun being on staff....this year I finally put the pen down and didnt re-sign.

Best of luck with whatever direction you go Byron.  I think Brunswick and Storm have some good balls on the table right now, so I'm sure that whatever you choose to throw will give you great success.  I hope to still hear from you every now and then!

I think it's slowed down A LOT compared to where it was maybe 6 months ago.  I've also stopped visiting the site as much as I used to.  I'm really busy with school (engineering, ack!), and I find a lot of the questions in this forum as well as all others forums to be repetitive, and I already know most of the questions and answers posted.

I'm spending more time actually playing bowling and practicing.  I sure hope everyone is busy doing what they need and love to do, and that's why there's not as much traffic here.  However, I really miss the traffic the Track forum used to get!

I am sure that the traffic will pick up, once they release a couple more balls.  I am relatively new to this site, but it seems to have slowed in the past week or two.

What happened?

Its simple people throwing Track are embarrassed to be associated with one dimentional Mike Scroggins. He makes the most hooking ball made by Track go dead straight. And not on purpose, either.

EXCALIBER(Carl), Remember when I wrote almost the same thing as a couple of others in here in the Track forum about it being slow?  

It was 9/10 months ago at least. I got blasted from a couple of others for that comment about things being slow etc. .

Don't know what Track is doing to some of the "Staff" (I KNOW THERE IS SOMETHING GOING ON), but they, Track are slowly loosing support from allot of people here and else where, or at least from me, and it started long before that "bull" about buying a Delta, making a video, and winning a spot on staff for Track.  

Did any one ever win that "Promotion" ??

EX (Carl), We have known each other for long time now. I consider you a GREAT friend ( and always will), you were the one who convinced me to try Track, and I thank you for that, never was sorry about that, but I think I will be also looking at other brands like a few others have been doing. I will continue to bowl in the Track Tourney, the rest of this season.

What has happened? I don't know, but do care.  Look at the last time Rick  (tenpinspro) was on here. Used to be fun here on the Track forum, not much that way any more. Paul

Yes, Columbia did change their ways about signing staff members and those who didn't get signed once again will be pick up by other companies.  I can't tell what they changed, but they had no choice.  I will make it my personal goal too keep this forum up and running with as many TRACK comments as I can, I know Rick pretty well and I will help as much as possible.

Sactown, some that didn't get resigned was not because Track didn't want to re-sign them, but because other companies gave them a better deal and more benefits than Track offered.

Sactown.......Very true.......However, other companies do also.....Track also has some not so awesome balls and as companies do also, so Track has nothing on them nor do they have anything on Track in that respect. I like Track. I also like some balls I have from other companies. I own 3 Track balls and with the exception of one which is a great ball, (Havoc) I can't say the other two I have (5.0 & GP2) are anything special. There are better balls than these two in other companies.

Hi folks, Just wanted to give my opinion on this.

1. I still post here, but not as often as I used to due to the fact of the uncontrolable trolls here.
2. I will always post ball reviews here in the Track forum, as well as pics of layout and vids!
3. Some guys left Track by choice, some were not asked back. Some of them were in it just "for the freebies" which is totally unacceptable IMO!!
4. Check out BowlingKingdom.com (tell em I sent ya ;-)). There will will find great ball reviews, vids, tips, and alot of other useful info, all without the "TROLLS"
5. Feel free always to message me. I work a rotating schedule, but I try to get online during my breaks when time allows. When I'm home, I'm online most of the time, and when I'm bowling, if it's at my home house, we have access there too!

Del is back in charge and this mean great things for Track! I am very glad to see him back.

Rev......I too wanted to quit posting on this site not only due to the trolls, but also due to the "inmature" kids that seem to have taken over this site. There are a few good kids here, but more bad ones than good ones......I recently joined the Bowling Kingdom. (BBE also) Maybe not for others, but for me, I have found both sites more difficult to "navigate". Not as easy and simple as it is to use this site, so I am forced to keep coming back to and using this site.

Around here the only way to get signed is if your in a cliq of current staffers. Ball sales have NOTHING to do with it as there's some people on Hammer, Columbia, Brunswick, Ebonite staffs that might bowl 2 times a week max and don't own a proshop or work in a center but because they are good friends with the reps or the current people on staff, they get contracts.

c2........In the companies you mentioned, whether that is true or not, I don't know, but I do know people on both sides of the fence in Track and do know that a person either performs or else it's "hit the road". Right now Track has some problems but as some have said, with Del back, that all should change. He has revived Track before and he is capable of doing it again.

What problems is Track having without Del Warren? Not saying he doesn't bring anything to the Table for Track but the balls themselves like the Heat series and the Slash are excellent balls in the mids. Never owned anything in Track's highs but have avoided buying any from most companies.
