Title: Advise

I love my 607A SE but can only use it for two games because it just hooks to much for me during the third game. What in the Track lineup would be just under the 607A as far as hooking ability?

I mean you have two options, if you really like the 607A you could just drill up a weaker one. Perhaps drill one with an inch longer pin than the one you currently have. Or you could jump down to a 505A, which isn't "just under" the 607A, but will give you a similiar look as the 607A.

I would drill a 300C.  The difference between a 607 and 505 is not that significantly difference.  If you are having a hard time controlling the 607, though the 505 is "weaker", the cover is still going to be strong enough to hook quite a bit.  If you step down to the 300, not only is is going to be weaker, it will also be much more controllable, and thus, much more playable.  Plus, the 300 will still be more hook than entry level stuff.

If anyone out there is worried about the scores being too high, try duckpin!!

Guess it depends on who's throwing it.  My 505A with the same drilling as my 607ase is about 4-6 boards different depending on the lane surface.  The look is almost identical too

My 505A layout http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q29/scotts33/Bowling%20Equipment/Track505A.jpg the layout definitely changes the angularity in that it's 6" pin to PAP and the surface I keep it at is 3000 abralon.  I go to this ball from my stronger laid out 715C.  Picks right up on the same line moving in chasing the oil.  I am thinking of adding a 300C under the 505A.
