X-ception snap
« on: March 07, 2005, 03:44:24 PM »
Has anyone noticed that as their X-ception gets tracked in, it snaps even harder. Mine cranks about 5 boards more than when I got it (1st day released) and I keep it in box condition. It seems to even be getting through some pretty good carrydown too.

What does every one else think?

Mine has still saved me when they dry up a little and I need to get in and open up the shot.  It gives me the capability to get to the free hook area with confidence that it'll just come charging back with great hitting power.  Can't do that with a lot of balls...

I have several Xceptions, but the one I use the most does exactly as you state....once the polish started to wear off of the track area a bit it gets though carrydown even better.

I've noticed that with my Xception as well.  I had planned to dull mine to 2000 grit to make it read a little better in oil, but after drilling it, it had enough traction to be predictable, and now that it has around 40 games on it, it has really started to shine.
