angular vs. energy
« on: May 31, 2005, 07:00:52 AM »
just curious how different the energy and angular would be. the angular would be drilled more aggressive...would it be able to handle more carrydown just based on the fact that it's particle? that'd be logical but i hoped to get lucky and find someone who's thrown them both. lmk.

I have not drilled any Energys yet, or any Dyno since the Anomaly, but in general, due to the particle cover, it will prob be smoother and better able to handle carrydown. I don't know much about the Energy, so I will reserve comments because I don't want to give bad info.

Matt,

I have not drilled an Energy yet bud, but I have seen it thrown by a couple of people. One was a massive cranker the other a stroker.

To compare it to Arsenal Angular this is what I see:

The Angular is stronger overall. The pearl particle coverstock makes it very good on carrydown. The Angular suprised me at how strong it is at the breakpoint. It is very much like a reactive ball off of the breakpoint----but the coverstock cuts through carrydown. The Energy and Angular should pick up roll at close to the same point, with a Angular a hair sooner. From everything I have seen and to sum it up more easily: The The Angular is stronger by a little bit, but will definately handle carrydown better.
