I am switching to Track and I am attempting to build a 6 ball arsenal. I currently have an Ebonite V2 Strong and V2 Clean, which I would like to integrate into my arsenal. The V2 Strong is comparable to the Arsenal Aggressive and the V2 Clean is comparable to the Slash.
I am still trying to decide whether I should go with one or two oil balls, for med/heavy and heavy conditions. The Rule GP2 seems to be an easy choice, but I have heard from one regional Track staffer that the ball is actually too strong for them. I also like the look of the Rule Delta 1 and Arsenal Reactive. Could I get away with just the Rule Delta 1? Would the Rule Delta 1 be too close to the Rule GP2? Is the Arsenal Reactive too close to my V2's?
On the flip side I am stuggling with the dry balls too. I am thinking of the original Xception for med/light conditions. Would the Heat or Desert Heat be better for dry? Will the Desert Heat be too weak? With my style, which is below, would the Heat be good enough for the majority of dry conditions? I can always add the Desert Heat at a later time.
I plan on bowling on a variety of conditions this year, so it is hard for me to predict which conditions I will encounter more often, and to what severity. I will be bowling mostly on normal house shots, PBA patterns, and some sport patterns.
I would appreciate any advice you could give me on these decisions.
