Animal Coverstock

I know there is a lot of Track Animal people out there. What seems to be the best coverstock surface that works best for you on overall conditions?        
I realize that we have sport shots, lots of oil and dry outside and others.
We would just like to know what drill patterns and surfaces seem to work best on the Animal and others if you like. Some lucky people have four new Animals so. just jump right in on this dicussion. (LOL)

The box condition of the Animal makes it more playable on a wider variety of oil patterns. The box condition is Clean n Sheen (1000 grit compound).

The drill pattern would really depend on what you are looking for the ball to do.

Hey Jody,

I changed the cover on my Animal several times (from polished to shiny) and it responded fine to whatever surface I put it at.  For oil though, I had to keep it at 400-600 grit, had to help it some due to the spin time.  Shined up, it played well on the med/lite conditions for me.  Hope this helps some...

4 of my Animals could have played about anything short of medium light/light.

Cover changes worked well, as they do with all Track stuff!
