Track's New Stuff
« on: August 27, 2008, 08:07:06 PM »
All the hype about Track's current line s starting to get to me.  Personally, I haven't seen a track ball go down the lane since the Machines I believe.  When I purchase my next ball, I'm kinda itching to try track since they seem to match up with several styles(specs are in my profile).  My arsenal is in my sig, but my Counter Strike is kinda losing my interest since it's not as versatile as my other two balls it seems.  It works on non wet/dry house shots and a few sport shots, but really anything it can do it seems my Rival can do better.  Anyways, it doesn't seem like there's a big enough gap between the Rival and Avalanche for a needed ball there, at least no until I have at least a Medium-Heavy oil ball.  Personally, I'm thinking an Uprising and I generally don't like polish so I'd probably end up taking it to 2000 especially since I'd use it for heavier volumes.

On another note, I'm curious as to how strong each ball in their line is relative to each other.  Here's how I'd put it, from strongest to weakest(in terms of handling oil), but I want some input.

Rising
Uprising
Kinetic
Kinetic Energy
Kinetic Pearl
Temper
Tantrum

The Arsenal:

Rival
Counter Strike
Avalanche Solid
Maxim

Im thinking seriously of a 3 Temper arsenal right now. One with a  high pin and mb next to thumb and a pin 3" from pap and strong mb plus a bit of surface. Averaged 234 for 10 with mine in a handicap touney today(and neeed all those pins to cash too!!)
