animal vs. gp2
« on: August 09, 2005, 05:44:56 AM »
Hey guys how many of you out there still use your animal as your heavy oil ball? How do you think it compares to the gp2. I know quite a few guys who dont care for the gp2 and I seem to be the only one with my animal these days. I also notice the gp2 shines right up as soon as it gets some oil in it where as the animal doesnt. What are your thoughts.

I love mine too. This new is slightly different than the other one. Just need to get some games on it to understand it.

Hijack #2...sorry

My GP2s will be(have not drilled them all yet)
1. Favorite drill-factory surface, pin under ring, cg in palm, mass bias left of thumb
2. Same as #1 but hit on all 4 sides with Magic Shine
3. Factory surface, pin 3 3/8 from PAP, cg swung towards VAL, mass bias on VAL.
4. Factory surface, pin under bridge, cg swung out towards PAP, mass bias near VAL.
5. Factory surface pin above ring, cg in palm, mass bias left of thumb
6. Same as #5, but hit with Magic Shine
7. Light hit of Magic shine, pin 1 inch from PAP, CG 2 inches from PAP, mass bias right of thumb.
8. Factory surface, everything stacked. Pin 3 3/8 from PAP.

Is there some overlap...yes..but...this ball is comfortable in my hands and fits my game better than most other balls right now, mainly due to the high Rg of the ball and the dual particle cover.

Have you figured out which to throw and when. I have buddy who has like 4 vertiogs and labels by numbers as well as a bunch of ices. Its good to know your equipment but I would have forgot what number is suppose to do until i throw it again.
