Anyone had a chance to throw or see these 2 balls in action. I am curious which one would be the best for a heavy oil ball. I have seen the finish on the KIS and it is dull, while the Animal looks polished. With that in mind, the KIS "should" work better in heavy oil, but I'm not sure.. I have never seen an Animal on the lanes but have talked to a couple of guys that have thrown the KIS and they where not that impressed with the ball..
Any help on this would be appreciated..

Hey JK,
The Animal comes polished because it was too much in it's dull state to be used on the "THS". Track states this on their flyer that they had to tame it with clean and sheen so it could be more useable for all around conditions. All you have to do is take it down to the grit you desire to match the amount of oil that you encounter. The covers from Track are very versatile and can be adjusted accordingly...check out Excaliber's thread on his 2nd Animal sanded, sounds very promising for heavy oil. Sorry, haven't drilled or seen a KI in action, not very popular in my area. Hope this helps some...
