Well the animal had the largest particles ever in a bowling ball made by track. The mega fang coverstock was a really early rolling and aggressive cover. The mean machine is not made for the early hook that the animal was made for. This is as much as I can give because I dont have the mean machine.

Agreed...Animal was well...an Animal! Very early, very strong ball...knock off the tisker of factory shine and you had a super aggressive ball! I just drilled another NIB one last week....AWESOME!

These guys nailed it.

The Animal is much sooner reacting than the Mean Machine.....but it does not turn the corner like the Mean Machine. Suprisingly both of these ball ARE EXTREMELY VERSATILE!!!!

Clint, glad I could help you out there with that. I take it that you liked the Animal I sent ya? LOL!

Hammer33, you will LOVE the Animal for the reaction you are looking for (based on what you posted in your Mean Machine sale post). It's a beast and it sets up early. Hits like a freakin' TANK!

I've still got 2 available.

Wife: "Heh, that's more than you've done for me lately."
Me: "Yeah, well my balls don't BLEED for a week out of every month."

I'm not sexist. I just don't trust anything that bleeds for 5 days and doesn't die.

In comparison Brian, the Animal is a little sooner then the Mean but for me it wasn't much.  RG's are pretty close and I kept my Animal at 400-500 grit for heavy oil as it naturally had a fair amount of axis retention by design (meaning skid).
