Track Machine
« on: March 26, 2006, 04:38:59 PM »
I've recently ordered a Track Machine and later this week, I will have it drilled. I cannot wait for the time to throw this PIN SMASHING MACHINE! I have watched other guy's videos and I am very impressed on how this ball clears the heads. I wanted to buy the Big One but after a good research, I finally ordered the Machine and I am sure I will not be dissapointed.

The Machine clears the fronts so well for me.  When the shot breaks down though, I find it really hard to get through the midlanes.  On fresh, the ball is an absolute beast!

Tim, are you gonna come out and bowl in The Encore this year?

i just drilled another machine for this weekends regional. I am having a little trouble getting a ball to read the lane on the fresh, so per Del's advice, I drilled another Machine, 4x3, pin below the ring about 1.5 inches above the midline, with the MB way out in an early roll position. I then hit the surface with a burgandy pad. We'll see how it works this weekend in Cuyahoga Falls!!

Does anybody know what is the finish of the machine? I know that for the Robo Rule, the finish is 800 Grit Sheen, what applies for the Machine?

I am getting a Machine and would like to know how its reaction is compared to an aggressive.I was thinking of the same drill pattern as the AA.I have the AA 5x5 with pin under ring.I like the smooth arc the AA has at the breakpoint. Is the Machine stronger or would be similar to the AA?

I also have a GP2 that is drilled 4x4 with pin under ring and mb on val.

How could i work the Machine in to fit with these balls?

My PAP is 5in. up 7/8 ball speed 15 to 17 mph rev rate high.

No, Dino. I won't be at encore this year. I have left and gone adult. ( as soon as regular season is out) I got an email from Andrew Dela Cruz about it tho. I am going to ask Raymond if he is going to go back to defend the title. He won last year by the way using a Track heat we drilled for him.

If your at any of the super schools you might see me there. I work at Buffa's seasonally from sept to about january each year.

Tog831...

As for the Machine compared to the Aggressive and Gp2....the Machine, being particle pearl, will clear the heads easier than the other 2 balls as the others are dull particles with a solid cover....When the GP2 or Aggressive just start to over under you, that is when the Machine (factory surface assumed) starts to shine! It can handle the little drier lanes, and the recovery on the backend is great! It would be a great addition to your arsenal!

And finally the Machine arrived! I had it drilled last night and try it a little bit (not on fresh).

What can I say... this ball is amazing!

Now I am sure for my choice. Thank you all guys for your great advice!!!
