I'm thinking about trying to locate on and wanted to know if anyone has thrown one. I've heard some good things about the ball on dryer conditions. If anyone has one post how you like it and what type of conditions it works best for you on and the type of reaction it gets. IF you wouldn't mind. They have a couple on E-bay I'm just hesitant to spend what the price is for this type of ball. Thanks, Isaac.

I have a Dry Heat. I cannot use this ball unless I am on either dry lanes or medium lanes that have broken down a bit. It hits harder than the Groove, or Scout series thus giving more pin action. Pick one up with confidence.

I hated mine. The cover was too strong for a drier lane ball. It hooked early if it hit the dry early and wouldn't recover when I tried to play deeper. On the + side, It carried well when I could get it there.

The 2 dry heats I have are among the best balls I've ever had. Both are drilled semi weak #1 pin over middle cg in grip center w/ rev hole in thumb quadrant, this ball is so good on dry and the lighter medium condition. The other is a great medium oil ball drilled pin over ring cg 3/8" rt of grip center, slightly duller than the first...All I can say, if you have a good amount of hand you'll love this ball! I would say just don't drill it strong its just not ment to be that type of ball. The ball has great length and exceptional carry.

I actually loved mine. Granted it wasn't a "typical" dry lane ball but it was (for me) a perfect bridge between balls such as my Scout/R and Hit and the rest of my good equipment. If I had to do it over again however, I would have drilled it with the pin over the fingers instead of under.
