Anyone Polish the Heat?
« on: May 24, 2005, 08:24:13 PM »
My Heat is very, very strong. I just want to know has anyone polished theirs and what did it do to the reaction and the hit.
Thanks,
DW

No, but on't be afraid to hit it with some Magic shine if needed. Track's covers are amongst the most versatile out there today and handle changes very well!

dw,

One of the first moves I made was to put some magic shine on the surface. The Heat comes with the same factory finish that the Animal, Xception 5.0 and a few others do. 1000grit compound.

Ex,
Did you throw yours before you hit it with the Magic Shine?

DW,

Yes I did. It rolled up a hair more than I wanted. I needed about another 2-3 ft down the lane before its move and the Magic Shine helped me get that.

my Heat was a tad too strong for me at first, so about 15 games later, I hit it up with some Magic Shine.  Now, my ball sails about 3 feet longer before it bites.
knowing the summer league that im starting up this week, the lanes are gonna be dry.  I'll probably use Delayed Reaction on my Heat.
