Action PAcked and MEan MAchine..
« on: July 26, 2006, 02:24:44 PM »
hello i was going to get a Mean and Packed drilled like this...

Mean: PIN below middle finger, MB 2-3 from thumb hole - Heavy Oil w/surface adj
Packed: PIN below middle finger, CG at 45 degrees - Medium Oil

My PAP is OVER 3 3/4 and UP 1 3/8, these to layout were recommended by someone here, but i wanted to see if anybody knew what the Mean and Packed reactions would be if they were drilled like this.

Hey Brian,

I believe the Mean Machine will have more backend and hook overall than the Action Packed buddy! The AP will get a decent amount of snap on the backend; however, I see the Mean Machine as a stronger overall reacting ball for you. Hope this helps some buddy! God Bless You and have a great week!

Brian,

I think the backend reaction you see out of both will be simliar...just remember that the polished ball (action packed) may finish a tad harder off of the dry because of the polish.

The mean machine with the layout we talked about will be earlier and will definately cover more boards.

Carl,

with the layout you suggested for the Mean.. will that make it have more of an arch reaction?

Arc more than FLIP....yes.

HOWEVER it will still have plenty left on the backend. If I had to say I would say it would be between an arc and flip. You will really like it.
