Kyle,
Mojo is still one of my favorites and still is in my bag. Currently, it is my go to ball for my early evening league which bowls on a fresh house shot. Our house douses the lane 10 to 10, so there is loads of oil in the middle and it very dry outside. I currently use a sanded 600 grit surface, so that it doesn't over react to the dry on the fresh shot. It also is more consistent than jumpier balls as the lane transitions.
Two years ago, I used the Mojo during a late night shift league. Back then, I polished with Track's Protraction Plus to help it clear the heads.
The Mojo is forgiving around the breakpoint and does not over react. You can get a flip look if it is polished and you use some hand. Call it a controlled flip. Generally, I would consider it a strong arc that finishes with a good hit keeping the pins low and carrying the corners. I send more messengers with the Mojo than any of my other symmetric cores balls.
I really love my Mojo because if I swing it, it just reads the lane and turns the corner and retains enough energy to carry the corners. If I tug it the cover doesn't jump, holding the line clearing the decks. This ball is forgiving and provides a loads of area. It is easy to read and allows for easy adjustments to stay in the pocket. Just keep moving inside as the oil tracks. If the lane starts to show some carrydown, then move a little outside to get around it.
Don't be afraid to try different finishes from sanded to polished as the Mojo's cover/core combination is very flexible.
Good luck with yours and let us know how it works for you.
