Title: Are you guys that blind???
Post by: throwing it all on October 29, 2009, 05:01:25 AM
All they are doing is re-hashing all their old balls.  These new balls are just Kinetics,Tempers, and Risings.  Wake up!!!

You make it sound like it's a bad thing that no ball company has ever done.

Yes, because out of all the companies....out of all these years....Track is the only one who's doneit, and they just started it now...

Hello.  Just about everyone is doing it.

Columbias Flush series is nothing but updated Ti Bosses.  The Freeze is an updated Messenger.  Brunswicks Avalanches are basically Danger Zones.  Everyones high end covers from 5 years ago are todays mid priced stuff and the mid priced stuff from 5 years ago is not entry to mid-entry level stuff.  There are only a small handful of companies that are using brand new, never before introduced covers and cores.  We are at the day and age where ideas are few and far between so it has become mix and match time.  Thats just the way it is.  BTW....what is wrong with it?

Actually, I never said their new line was great.  I'm not a rep or staff so I don't care if the new line succeeds or fails.  If you have to ask why a company would make their products appear to be the best, then you obviously know nothing about business/advertising.

Don't let this guy get under your skin, he's obviously just trying to start an argument/trouble.

Probably wouldn't know a Track ball from a snow ball.

Track didn't say they were making completely new bowling balls only that they were going to a new naming system.

So they can continue to mix and match existing cores and covers with new ones.

Name a company that doesn't mix and match old cores with newer covers.

I don't care for the new Track stuff but they haven't done anything different from everyone else or from old Track.

Totally new weight block in the 930T and 715A with new coverstock, the 505C & A are the shuttle core which is a very good core with a new coverstock! From what I've seen for the ones I drilled for customers is they are clean through the heads and midlane with a very strong move at the breakpoint!

The team we bowled against had a female throwing the 505C. Drilled with the pin over the ring finger and the mb under it short pin, stacked. Ball was clean through the heads, smooth off the spot, with better than average carry, although she left a couple of solid 9s and maybe an 8 and 4 pin. She bowled right behind me and she and I both strung six in a row together in the third game (4-9) when everyone else was struggling because the lanes had broken down so bad. I was throwing a Virtual Energy (6x3 pin pretty much over middle finger), that reacted about like the 505c did.

If I did not have the VE and a Natural, I would definitely get the 505c for the later games. Ball reminds me of the old Arsenal Artillery.
