Aresenal Artillery
« on: April 28, 2006, 05:12:47 PM »
Saw one of our good fast righties throwing this babe and loved the look!

Good length(he was playing strongly right.  Waits and then makes a smooth but hard move to the hole.

I loved the move.  Upon looking at it I kept thinking....Boy that is a strong and recognizeable move to the hole.

Does this look familiar?

I had loved this weightblock in the VIrus and Deadly Virus(track affiliate partners from this timepoint?

Is this ball more for medium-heavy or medium-dry?

Ball is made for medium lane conditions but I would say more towards that the heavy side that the light.

Rev-O-Lutions...

I agree with you the

Artillery
is the core of the

Revmaster...

Which copied and followed the successful core of the

VIRUS/Deadly Virus...

Of course the core of the Revmaster had the rg lowered and diff raised but the Artillery is listed as having the same low rg but a similar flare potential as the VIRUS(less than Revmaster(.44 vs .59)...a nice cross.

For maybe this reason reason the Artillery seems longer to the break than the revmaster(to my eye).

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS Goo LS is same stuff as on the Rule Delta?  Hmm?

The Artillery is an awesome piece of equipment. IT can handle all of the medium conditions. I bowl a second shift trio league, and it is the first ball out of the bag. I shot 826 last Thursday with it.
Drilled 5 1/4 x 4, extra hole on axis. Ball clears the front really well, with a good strong symmetrical ball transition, and keeps going on the back end.
Great compliment to the Robo and the Machine.

I have just got myself an Artillery and although I've only bowled 3 games with it I have to agree this seems to be an awesome ball, it is easy to get down the lane but has a strong positive move to the pocket even on tight backends.
This is one ball I would say everone should try for themselves, I doubt many people would be dissapointed.

The Revmaster core has been as good or better to me than the Elite core has been, and that is a darn good core (Elite). For whatever reason, some of these cores just seem to like any cover that gets wrapped around it...
