Guys/Gals, I have not thrown enough games with this ball to even post a mini review, but I have thrown it enough to make a few comments.
As Brian Pursel stated, this is not a replacement for the Slash. I drilled my Blue Heat identical to my Slash....down to the statics and weight hole!
The Blue Heat fits between the Slash and the Arsenal Aggressive. Given each having their OOB finish, The Blue Heat is couple of boards more than the Slash, and a couple of boards less than the Arsenal Aggressive.
I was suprised at how much backend the Blue Heat has when it is kept in the oil. BTM stated that very fact....but I like seeing things for myself better. Another GREAT "feature" of this ball is how it hits the pins.....(all Track stuff hits hard).....It is one of those balls that keeps the pins low and when it is solid the pins don't stand a chance. You can easily see it drive through the pins and past the deck.
I am going to throw it a bit more, but so far I plan on matching the surface with what I have on the Slash to give a more direct comparison.
