Clean & Sheen vs others
« on: April 10, 2008, 03:26:13 AM »

I am just about out of  Track clean and sheen and really liked using it. Has anybody tried the Ebonite factory finish or others that you like just as well. The clean and sheen has a grit compound but still leaves a shine.

Clean and SHeen is a rubbign compound not a polish. Although it does leave s alight shine. It should not be used or treated like a polish, because it constantly smoothes out the surface EVERY time you use it. ANd every time you are changing the surface, not just polishing it.

If you want a polish, use a polish.

Other bowling ball rubbing compounds are Brunswick's ROugh Buff andf Ultimate's Quick Kut and Polish.

There are plenthy of simple polishes out there, some with LIGHT abrasives, like Storm's Xtra Shine and Lane#1's Secret sauce and some with no abrasives like Lanemasters Factory Finish polish and Brunswick's High Gloss polish.

jodyk,

I swear by Ebonite Factory Finish.  It's probably one of the best finishing products I've ever used.  What type of finish are you looking to achieve and on what type of ball are you looking to achieve it?
