Title: Arsenal Help!
Post by: dw23 on July 27, 2003, 02:56:35 PM
I need the help of all of the Track users out there. My current arsenal is missing something. I cannot get a ball to go long with recovery to keep up with Storm ball users on those shots where you need to go around the dry. The ball needs to fit between the Freak Out and the Stomp Pearl. Here is my current arsenal and thanks in advance for the help. DW

Super Freak
Freak Out

Stomp Pearl

Volcano R

Go with a Threat. A Voodoo or Thrash might be a bit too strong for the conditions you specified. Get a Threat, you will love it!!

How am I supposed to knock all 10 down with one ball?!?

The Threat is going to be stronger than the Voo Doo. Pearl Particle vs Reactive.

The Threat would be ideal, except if your line carries down then it will not handle the carry down as well as the Thrash would. BE VERY CAREFUL in the layout you use. This ball does what it is supposed to when you put that given layout on it. Drill it like 5x5 or 4.5x5.

How about a Revmaster?  With your hand and ball speed it could give you good recovery away from the pocket.

I actually like the Revmaster. It seems to burn up a little early sometime and hit weakly. I like the Threat but it seems to be touchy off the dry and does not have the length that is advertised. I tried a couple of new things tonight that worked well but still need some finishing touches.

Super Freak
Mutant (Compound Polished)
Freak Out
Revmaster or Threat?????
Sensor
Volcano R
Boxing Glove

I had a VooDoo, and drilled right, with your speed (about the same as mine) the VooDoo should do the trick.  Polish and Doc's Magic Elixir will give any added length, if it is even needed.  I am a Saw user now, and if you were asking about a Saw, I would recommend a Viper or Silver Diamond.
