It is a shame that Rick is back as I'm on my way out.
Anyway, since I've moved into this new area I've learned that they like to lay down a long shot(44-47 ft). There is no wall to bounce off of, which has made me tighten my line quite a bit and not cross as many boards as I would like.
Ball wise, I have 8 that I cycle through every other week ranging from 1k to 4k/polish finish with various layouts. Whether I'm at 10 with my Equation(weakest)or 32 with my modified Rising(strongest) as long as it doesn't stray past 5 at the breakpoint it's looking good.
I'm satisfied, yet unsatisfied with my scores so far this season. My strike count is way up(roughly 7 strikes a game, alot of the time 4/5 baggers). Yet my spare game is horrible. I'm just over 50% so far-which irritates me because before I hurt my wrist in '07 I was a great spare shooter. If I can get my spare game back and keep my strike game the same or better, there will be no reason I can't attain my goal for the season(225+, at 221 and 214 right now).
But I'll end this on a high. I've gotten 2 more honor scores this year and some pretty strong 700s(790, 774, 767, and 744). Not the best ever, but very pleased considering I couldn't even pick up a ball not even a year ago.
