Arsenal Reactive Question
« on: November 21, 2005, 09:09:15 AM »
How would the Arsenal Reactive and the Phenom Unleashed compare to one another if they were drilled the same and left in OOB surface?  Are they too close to being the same kind of look on the lanes, even though the PU is particle?  I have the PU and was thinking about the AR for a stronger, sharper/flippier  backend.

I have both.  The AR is earlier and stronger in the OOB cover.  In fact even polished with magic shine the AR is stronger.

Here's the thing though; these are two great balls to have in an arsenal because they give two totally different break points.  These two balls can cover a lot ofdifferent fresh oil conditions.

The AR was too strong for me to use with the OOB cover.  I had to polish mine, plus I have a length drill on it.  Pin about 5 1/4" to pap cg kicked right to 1oz and no x-hole.  I would love to buy another one and drill it stacked leverage with the OOB cover.  I would be able to use this on an xtreme flood.  If I did this and dulled it to like 600 grit it would be unuseable because it would be just too dam strong.
