Arsenal Reactive vs Rule GP2

I'm curious as to how these two balls compare. I currently have a GP2 and can only use it until about halfway through the second game. This ball is really attracting my attention..I think it will be an excellent fit below my GP2. Can some of the gurus and staffer give me some input and comparisons?

The Arsenal Reactive is definately below the GP2. Generally what it will give you is a later read on the lane and more backend.

Dude you wont be sorry if you buy the reactive.  The reactive is a freaking awesome ball.  My favorite reactive ball by far.  I'm glad track made this one.  I would classify this as a ball of the year!  The animal is my favorite partical ball of all time and I can already tell the arsenal reactive is going to be my favorite reactive ball of all time.

Gotta agree here as the Delta and Arsenal Reactive both make a very nice step down from any of my 5 GP2s.

thanks guys....I am really considering picking one of these up. I really need something after my GP2 becomes too much. How would you compare it to the Hex-plosion? I imagine it would roll a little earlier. Our pattern never breaks down to the point where I can use my Hexplosion. I am hoping this is the ball for me. I also welcome layout suggestions....thanks!

Reactive is much earlier than the Hexplosion. Hex is a great ball for the lighter mediums while the Arsenal Reactive is right up there with the big boys.

I know it probably depends on the drillings on the balls....but roughly..how many boards weaker is the reactive than the GP2?

In general, I would say 3-4...about the same as the Delta for me.

Hey Todd,

The Reactive I feel is a good step down from the GP2.  Depending upon your overall hook, I'd say it's about 3-5 boards weaker like the guys say.

Compared to the Hexplosion, it's earlier and stronger.  As Clint states, the Hexplosion is designed more for med lite.

Hey bud mine is drilled for length and backend.  Pin is above the ring but real close to in between the bridge.  It's about 5" from pap.  The cg is kicked right to 1oz and no x-hole.  I also have a couple coats of magic shine on it.  With this drill layout and cover prep the reactive is a monster on med to med/heavy.  This ball has a ton of backend for me.  I hit it on the head with this layout (pin above the fingers) with the low rg this layout gives it that xtra length to conserve the energy for the backend.

With the OOB surface I can use this ball on heavy oil.  It's that strong.  I was shocked by how strong this ball is.  If you read the BTM review they were right on with this ball.  A strong mid lane and backend is an understatement.  I use an animal for heavy oil but may buy another reactive for heavy.  This is by far the best reactive ball I have ever owned.  This ball gets my vote for ball of the year.
