Artillery--- Anyone throwin it yet?

It is on e-bay now, so I figure some staffers have been using it. If it has been talked about, I am sorry I missed it, but would still like an insiders view of the ball.

have not used it but I think the reaction will be close to that of the action packed... great length and vicious backend.

Did they run the oil machine?  Was there any oil in it.....

I'll say this. This ball is a MUST have. I have 2. Just punched the 2nd today, the other is extremely impressive on the lanes. I have the pin high above the middle finger, cg swung out and a small hole. The ball revs up early, strong off the breakpoint, but still has enough pop on the backend. As everyone knows, the ball uses the core used on the revmaster, my revmaster was layout stronger, and this ball out hooks it by 4-5 boards, most on the backend. I'll post pics of both balls tonight when I get home from league. Hope to throw the 2nd tonight, if not I'll practice with it in the morning and post a review on it, with the comparison and possibly some videos.

So this ball has a big back end to it?

Its pretty big considering how soon it starts to rev. I've used it in 3 different houses. 1 wood, old burned up heads that was pretty wet, one giant wall, and one that plays drying in the middle of the lane than the outside, and had just a ton of area on all 3. Going to try and use it, and or the new one i drilled tonight in the late league i bowl, only problem is they start out pretty dry on the fresh.

How does it compare to the Arsenal reactive?

Threw the 2nd one last night, the right lane was tighter, threw the older on it. Left lane was drier, used the new on it. Though the first is drilled weaker, its not as shiny as the one out of box. I liked the reaction out of the box, more even, same early rev and strong breakpoint. However I think i'm either going hit it with 2000 and leave it there, or 1000 and put clean 'n smooth to get a little more overall hook out of it. There is a link to a picture of my reactive on here, pin really high, the pin on the one is just as high, but negative. Nothing in the track line starts up as soon as the reactive, even with the pin that high and having the cover glassed up. The AA starts just a few feet after, but has a ton more backend. Last night when the aa started hooking too much on the wetter lane, i changed to my reactive, but it just wasn't enough to turn the corner. Ended up going to a machine laid out to lay off, squaring up to the track.
