I'm asking for opinions here. I have eight favorite Track bowling balls at the moment (it might be nine when I get the Equation drilled up). They are, in order from heavy oil down to spare, the Robo Rule, Mean Machine, Machine, Arsenal Artillery, Heat Blast, Solution Power Plus Ex, Desert Heat, and Flaming T spare ball. I have a four bagger and a two ball tote that I take to bowling. I have a mental block about taking more then six bowling balls, except to tournaments.(I still sometimes think that more then one or two bowling balls is ridiculous...until I bowl that is!) So...including the Equation if you wish....for your "average" house conditions...meaning medium (ish) oil, sometimes above medium, sometimes below, christmas tree pattern, synthetic lanes, relatively low humidity, high altitude (Albuquerque, 5,000 feet)...which six would you take with you on an average league night? It's a nice problem to have but it's still a problem, mentally at least.

Actually on Thursday night the Solution PP Ex was perfect but I was bowling with a left leg injury meaning I couldn't brace my leg very well and was throwing with an extra half-step with my right leg on follow through. If I could have hit spares or had some luck on spares (three chops...I hate those)I would have had a decent night.

For a THS you only need 4 balls at most.

Funny...CMD.....that's exactly what I've been taking with me. Watch out.....you're starting to think like me. And Strikestriketapped....I would agree with you except for the fact that I bowl at Holiday bowl where the conditions can change from week to week drastically. Or even from one lane to another as was the case three weeks ago when one lane was flooded and the other scorched meaning I was using a heavy oil ball on one lane and a dry lane ball on the other and watching really good bowlers all around me struggle just as much as I was that night. Most of the time a medium/heavy, and a medium are all you need plus a spare ball....but every three or four weeks something new appears. For some it's a pain in the neck, for others it's a challenge. It's both for me.

I would leave out the Robo (medium oil is not enough oil) Artillery (low rg ball needs more oil....and then either the Blast or Ex...I would want the Equation with me...

tooo many balls= too many choices, work with Paul Yoder or Mike Miller (should be your area??) more on your physical and overall game to open up your capabilities. Not busting your stones but on 95% of house shots there is push and pull room and just finding 1-2 pieces that macth that house giving room for one piece on either side for extremes is plenty of equipment. If you bring that much equipment and net the same results the problem is not the equipment.

I would go with the following:

Mean Machine
Equation
Arsenal Artillery
Solution Power Plus Ex
Desert Heat
Flaming T
--------------------
Arsenal includes:
Rule GP2, Rule Delta 1, Slash, Heat Blast, Heat,  Desert Heat, Boxing Glove

Bowling with a leg injury? probably from carrying all those balls lol. i would experiment with differnt balls. meaning I would take a few different ones each night and look for the best compliment on the lanes and not on papper. Just an idea though.
