Title: Artillery vs. Radar
Post by: erh300 on February 23, 2006, 01:49:17 AM
I know these two balls have not been out long, but has anyone had a chance to compare them? I am mainly a Track user, but I'm reading a lot of good things about the Radar. Just wondering how they stack up against each other because an Artillery or Radar is next on my list to purchase. Thanks for the help.

erh300,

I have not thrown the Radar and I have not seen it used. It is a very nice looking ball though.

Read my mini review of the Artillery. As for everything I have heard about the Radar it is not going to be as strong as the Artillery is.

VERY little info, but I hope it helps.

I own the radar and have an artillery coming the will not even be close the radar would closer to an exception which i have owned or the exception 5.0. An action packed out of the box is a very close match up to the radar, i had to dull both of them to get them not to skate on medium/heavy oil.

My pro shop driller has the artillery and he told me it is very strong and revs up hard, i would read ex's review and see what he says but i can tell you the radar is not super strong upfront.
