If I decide to drop to 15# equipment, should my arsenal consist of asymmetrical, symmetrical or a mix of both? I'll probably end up with 6-8 balls. I bowl in a few tournaments here and there and hope to make it to some big scratch tournaments and maybe a couple of regionals. I've got a 15# Slash coming and after I have it drilled and compare it to my 16# Slash, I'll make my decision about switching. Just trying to get an idea of what to do. I plan on building my set slowly to make sure I don't get a bunch of overlapping balls. Thanks for the help and all the comments about dropping to 15# stuff.

erh300,
I would suggest a ball based on the reaction you want for a particular slot in your arsenal. I like asymmetrical equipment because being able to tweak the reaction with the MB placement is just another tool that a ball driller has to help him/her give the customer the reaction they desire.
Long before I ever joined Track's Staff I had a good mixture of asymmetrical and symmetrical equipment. I did not really do this intentionally I did this based on what each ball was supposed to do and where I wanted it to fit in my lineup.
