Is Track a BOTM club company?
« on: August 18, 2005, 10:55:58 PM »
I know certain companies get ripped for being ball-o'-the-month club members.  I never really considered Track to be one, until I looked in this month's BTM.  I believe Track and Columbia had by far the most balls listed on the summary reviews page.  I know they just cleaned out a bunch of balls because of the recent 6 month review, but they had 2-3 times the number of balls than any of the other companies.  Is this a requirement of being under the Columbia umbrella?

Here's what I think:

Track is definately a BOTM club company. I dont know if it is a requirement through Columbia. However, the reason they are releasing so many balls is because they are trying to create complete ball lines in all price points and with different aspects of technology. Their ball lines currently offer high performance asymmetrical(Morpheus cores etc), high performance symmetrical(Morpheus Symmetrical), mid price(Heat), and low end(Solution series).

If you try any ball from any line, you will not be disappointed. They make great products in all of their ball lines.

It doesn't really matter if they are or not, because from what everyone says the stuff is actually decent.  THe problem with typical BOTM companies is that they release junk or things nobody needs.

Andy hit that one right one, everything they have released has filled a void in their line. There is no overlapping...if you want high end symmetrical...we got it covered...if you want high end asymmetrical...we got it covered...if you want the old days stuff...we got it covered..for CHEAP (Classic Line)..and if you want mid-entry level....we got it covered (Solutions).
