I've been a track man for some time now. i love the new equipment theyve come out with, but i've gotta say, the Triton Heat and Triton Contender i still throw more than ALL my new equipment, and on a tough demanding condition, im pulling one of those two out of the bag to conquer it.
What about the rest of you Track maniacs?
--------------------
am i still considered a lefty, i never get to play the left side of the lane
-
Voodoo. Like the new cores, don't like the new coverstocks.

"I drink to forget. Forget what? I dunno, I forgot that a long time ago."
-
I would have to say it is my Thrash. Love the control.
--------------------
How am I supposed to knock all 10 down with one ball?!?
-
Is it my imagination, or do Track users do this poll every week?
--------------------
Penn State Proud ......THB with loft
-
MOJO

Accuracy becomes high,so that an opinion poll has much number of times

The Contender.

You will not see me on the PBA Tour, but I love the game!!!

Critical Mass was a great ball, but the best I ever threw has to be the original Triton Heat. In fact when I went from 16# to 15#, the Heat is the only 16# I held on to. The Pearl Elite was another great ball. Did anyone ever have the Track ball that started it all: The Blue Urethane Enforcer?

You got that right. I have seen this post up a few times.
I have a hard time just naming one. I really like all of the newer ones I have, and I really liked the Assassin.
I would have to say a tie between the Thrash, and the Phenom. I also like the Mutant alot as well.
The Thrash and Phenom are both very different for the kinds of balls they are. I have not seen many pearlized balls that would be considered a controll ball, and that is just what the Thrash is. I have not seen many balls that are made to hook like the Phenom be a controll ball, and that is what it is. They are for 2 completely different lane conditions.
When the Phenom is too strong I pull the Thrash out. The Thrash works much better in medium conditions than the Phenom. Give me any kind of oil....and that includes carrydown and the Phenom is the one I go with. This bowling season so far they are the only balls I have used---aside from a spare ball. I have thrown the Crunch a bit, but not in league yet.

I shot a 800 with a Blue Triton and a 300 with a Triton Elite. But overall the best Track ball that I ever threw was the Champ!

Bowling is just a game.........right?

Well, I've owned 3 track balls.
I HATED the Heat, and didn't much care for the voodoo. I do, however, like my elite pearl.
-
mumzie..
didn't like the Voodoo??......wow...think that is the first time I have heard someone not liking it.......was probably the best all around ball I have ever owned .....only shut out on floods and deserts...
so as you can tell....my vote is for the Voodoo......followed closely by the underappreciated Crunch....

My vote is for the EMB, wish I got one at 15 lbs., before I dropped weight. My wife's would have to be the Contender. These two balls have both been very good to us.
-
Triton Elite, never owned one but throw my buddies all the time(him righty, me lefty). Threw it in league one night, shot 650, laughing all the way. Ball hooks as much as half my equipment for being negative. Still considering picking one up but I have to get rid of more balls first. Mojo was another great one (sold it).
