It looks like i will have to wait a while to recieve a new ball even if i do... So i was thinking of just buying something new ... My link to my current equipment is on the bottom... Not sure about my pap but what would be a good ball... Right now i really like the reaction i get from my Au 79.. goes pretty long and snaps in really strong... My rule gp2 seems to roll right off my hand and streaks breaking right away and then on the backend it just lines up str at the angle its on.. . It does not seem to keep breaking on the back end... I mean it hits good but i just don't get to use it very much... and my freak when i can use it usually has a nice even arc to it although i thought it was drilled to go longer.. all my bowls are now posted so take a look and let me know...

In my league tonight i was throwing my Au79... problem with my Gp2 is that there is never enough oil... I was throwing the Au79 standing on the 7 with the outside of my left foot... throwing str throw the 1st and 2nd arrow or over the 2nd arrow ball would break slightly on the back end... It hit nice and carried but to me it seemed like the oil patter was either very long or there was a decent out on the back end cause the thing never snapped like it usually does... I just feel like maybe i could use something rolling a little earlier and my Gp2 has the problem i describe in the first part that it seems to roll right of my hand never really revs up that much... I'm a left with probably med revs and throw about 16mph to 17mph... Thanks left me know what i could do... I was thinking maybe a Arsenal Aggressive that would give me a nice arc... Or i'm thinking i could sand down my Freak-Azoid because it is polised alot right now... Thanks

Try sanding down your Freakazoid to about 800-1000grit. I have one that is sanded down and it could do the job. Granted it is not as strong as the Aggressive.

Have you considered altering the surface of your GP2, or do you feel that you want to leave it with the surface it has incase you run into the kind of oil it requires?

Yeah i was thinking leave the Gp2 for heavy oil since that is its purpose....

Ok, so you sanded your freakazoid to 2000 grit. I do not know if that is low enough. Maybe you should try something lower (if you are afraid to try 800-1000 how about 1200?). If that does not do the trick the Slash or the Aggressive could fit as well.

Between those 2 the Slash goes longer and will not handle quite the oil volume that the Aggressive can. The only thing that scares me here is that the Aggressive is a strong ball, but it could end up being too much as well. Ofcourse surface adjustments can always help get your desired reaction.

yea the guy at my proshop thought the aggressive would still be to heavy a ball... its just a medium oil shot but very long...
