Blue Heat
« on: June 01, 2005, 02:32:57 AM »
I have seen the new peice!!  Heat 2 core with the Wow particle cover.  It comes "fine" out of the box, which seems to be around 1500.  Red and Blue in color, and as for reaction, I did not see Jeff throw it at all.  He also informed me that he will have the Desert Heat either today or tomorrow, so I will hope to see that too.

Jeff is the northeast regional sales director of track, so he gets them as fast as anyone.

Traumatize,

It sounds very interesting!! Maybe something in the mid price area that moves very well.

Heat 2 core, WOW particle.....Could be a ball that Enforcer fans end up loving. I know the Enforcer had a different cover, but if this ball is what you say it is then it could very well be close to that.

Well, JK300, that answers alot for us.

They lowered the Diff comared to the Heat (nearly half!!!) and slightly raised the the RG.

This could very well be the dry lane ball everyone has wanted.

Quick comment on the Blue Heat, according to the link posted by JK300JP it has WOW 2 Particle, not WOW.

So, Track, why does any website, other than the home Track website, have such information posted before, yours, the originator's, has it up?

charlest,

VERY good question! I wish I knew the answer for sure. My guess is that distributors overseas get the info first and SOMETIMES have the equipment sent first because of how easily products are distributed around the U.S. Does that make sense?

Not really. It gets to Japan first because of how easily products are distributed "around" the US? Do you mean "Outside" of the US?

Still, "information disseminated" is money in the bank, in this, the Information age. The sooner people see it, the more they are inclined to order it, sooner. In other words, he who hesitates loses money.

Just speaking from experience, International/Overseas will get the product first.  Approximately 4-6 weeks later, the ball is then "officially released/launched in the US" which then will be put up on the website.  The purpose of the distribution in this manner I believe, was to create a timed separation of product distribution so neither market would have an affect on each another.

We saw this trend for quite some time when Sir Track (formerly Sir Track-A Lot) overseas pro shop/distributor would have new ball info up and posted on his website before the ball was officially released here in the US.

Any guesses on where this blue heat would fit into the current line? Think it would be something to use as a benchmark ball or what? More than the heat but less than the slash is my guess.

Let's wait til Track posts the ball's specifications on their website, the Track local reps get their balls, throw it a few times and report back to us. Then you and I can see some definitive facts about the ball.
