Well I went out and bought the 505T....I drilled same as my 715T...65x4.5x30
Very interesting observation I made while practicing. At OB finish of both balls, I see the 505T about 3-4 boards weaker and a hair longer, but then I put both balls at 1000AB and what a change. The 505T became about 3 feet earlier and about 2 boards stronger over all, but very smooth and controlled. I really really liked the look. Looks like it can handle oil very well at that surface.
So now my dilemma is which way to set the 2 balls up surface wise.
Let me start by saying I have loved and scored great with my 715T!!
Has anyone taken the surface of a 715T up to say 4000AB?
I was throwing on a 44ft modified house shot put out for a high school tounament.
Any and all opinions and suggestions about what I should do are appreciated!
