EXCALIBUR is the man. I wanted to clean my GP2 and he reccommended Scotch brite (grey or worn green). It worked EXTREMELY well and anyone who has a GP2 would do themselves a lot of good to try this!

I am glad it worked for you. This method works extremely well with any ball that comes dull OOB.
