Up Rising Mini Review
« on: July 09, 2008, 02:06:13 PM »
Well I laid out my uprising with a 5" pin to PAP, 1 1/2" from VAL, MB 3" from VAL. OOB with no Extra Hole. The ball gets nice easy length reads the mids nicely and makes a strong arc move to the pocket with no quit and hits very well. WE bowled on a longer flatter THS on Sythetic Pro Anvilane. I used the ball for the first 3 games and all 3 were in the 230's. Game 4 gave me some unsual ball reactions and spotty carry and I had to scramble and again for the 2nd week in a row had trouble carrying with anything. But I cannot wait to drill another Uprising I think this core and cover match up better for me than the Rising ever did and The hit is impresive and I love that a Black bowling ball is on the market again. People looked at me because they havent seen a solid black ball in sometime. Will throw it again on some different patterns and give addtional feedback later.

I totally agree with the strength of this ball. I used the ball the third game on the Shark pattern. The ball rolled really early. I had to make a big 7 board move left and give it more room to the right. The hit is amazing. I will use mine more this weekend and give my own mini review.
