I would expect it to be fairly aggresive in the midlane and a monster off the break point with that drilling.

it's not supposed to roll early and arc

Yea it looks somewhat like a generic lay out for some extra length to me, but I could be mistaken.

Maybe it depends on your style but it would be quite strong in the backend for me.
The pin is above and at a quite strong distance from PAP and the MB is in the strong position which usually equates to an angular break point. When you consider the balls characteristics of being pretty strong in the backend already and you place the pin up and MB strong it isn't going to get less angular if used on the condition it is designed for.
Can you give some details about your game it may change my opinion.

Let me clarify, aggressive in the midlane means early rolling... Then a monster on the back end means strong hard arc. Just make sure you do actually have some oil to use it. I would say nothing less than medium (or more oil).

Didn't you say that you PAP was over 5 and up 1/4 in another post.
If so it looks more like about a 5 x 3 to me instead of 4 x 2.

Brian,

Like I mentioned before, with your vertical movement of only a 1/4, this ball will still roll pretty strong in the mid lane for you (as it natuarally is designed to).  It just has a little more length then we wanted originally.  Don't forget that we can still alter the cover some as it comes pretty smooth OOB.  It should still handle med/med to med/heavy for you.  Keep me posted and I'll walk you thru the cover adjustment as needed but I think you'll still like this.  The Mean Machine is a pretty strong ball....

why wouldn't ASB-Joe be able to drill this 4.5 x 4mb like i said is there a reason why he didn't drill it like this? (i think he told me why but i forget, and i can't get in contact with him)

The pin would have been in the ring (and he didn't want to do that, fear of cracking) based on my suggestion of 4.5x4 but that's why I mentioned I really wanted the pin under.  We always have a little wiggle room but I guess this is the way he likes to do it.

It may be 4.5 x 4
Without knowing your span to estimate the pin and MB locations or the coordinates of the pin and MB based off of grip center none of us can say for sure what it is.

A buddy has his drilled like that. He does not have much hand, and it does roll well in the mids, and angular on the back.  The ball is aggresive enough to start in the mids with the  drilling. Also it might have had lower top weight with would help a ball roll earlier.   The weights in the ball might promote earlier roll as well.  I have a Sahara that is a midlane monster, was drilled with little side weight and some thumb weight.  So sometimes you have to take in account the static weights.  I hope the ball rolls well with you.
