Nice...maybe people will see these guys win with Track and give Track a good name again. It was disheartening to see Scroggins make it to TV week in and week out, only to blow it and make Track look like they hit like marshmallows (I have nothing against Scroggins though, he was indeed good enough to make TV shows).
Allen and Malott will be great with Track this upcoming season.

Very, very cool. Not the biggest PA fan in the world, but it'll be worth it to see Track on TV. Half the season, one of those two was on the show.
And yeah, way better than Scroggins.

First Scroggins, now Patrick Allen...dang Track, sign somebody I can pull for...

That which doesn't kill you will only make you stronger, that which doesn't make you stronger is a waste of time!

Well, WRW was throwing Track most of last few years, but not on staff. I really wish I could have seen more of Amleto throwing it, especially some of the stuff that's come out in the last two or three years. Maybe when ESPN Classic catches up to the '98-03 shows.
Also, Scroggins wasn't on staff, he's been independent for as long as I've noticed him.

Wow, I'm shocked! PA had much success rolling The One. Can't wait to see what he does with a Track in his hand.
He had success out the wazoo throwing Hammer, but he didn't stick with 'em. Mika jumped the Ebonite ship as well, after his PoY year.

Nonetheless, I still can't stand PA! I've always liked Malott though. Hope they both do well this coming season.

It's possible that PA and WM will be using the Machine and Robo Rule but I doubt it. I think they'll be using whatever Track releases between now and the beginning of the tour. That means, possibly, some really interesting new releases. On the other hand, if they are using the Machine and Robo Rule, that might energize sales for two of the best bowling balls around!

He did have a ton if success throwing hammer. That shows you he must have got a sweet deal to join Track. Money talks and these pro's will go to who ever has the best deal. This is not a knock to any ball company's. PA switching after having great success just shows that money talks.
The guys that will use a ball they think is really good and a cut above the rest are the independants that are not signed with any company.
-
WOW!!! I thought PA would be would Ebonite forever! lol Glad he and Wes came to their senses! :-)

Sweet PA and WM with Track. Good I catch wait to see Track in the winners circle once more.

The question isn't why do I throw all Track, it's why don't you.
Arsenal includes:
Rule GP2, Rule Delta 1, Slash, Heat Blast, Heat, Desert Heat, Pearlized Triton Elite

Not always true Chi, I know of some players that Del and other company reps personally spoke to me about that are not on staff because they want too much. It becomes a point of cost efficiency. Just to pay someone to throw your equipment all year vs giving them money when they make the show can add up to a huge difference in overall costs.
As with any pro sport, many contracts are incentive based now and many bowlers don't like that because that's not how contracts were written before so they won't sign either. There are a ton of variables out there as to why some of our top bowlers are not on contract. I don't even know them all...
Personal pet peeve: Norm Duke put his face and name with Elite (which I saw in a bowling newspaper ad) but that week he threw a Storm Ace on the show to win. I thought this was horrible because it causes confusion to the consumer. What good does that do for either company? If he's not brand loyal, then don't be but don't do multiple companies as a consumer/fan will begin to realize that equipment is not that important. I personally feel he hurt his own image by doing this. On Dukes behalf, not sure if his contracts/agreements happened to cross at this juncture.

Close, it was a Heat 2 Pearl. He was on Track staff then as well.

Jason,
Norm threw Storm on TV all year. The reason it was 'undisclosed' is Norm was not on staff with Storm, and felt is was giving them free advertising by saying which ball he was using. He most likely had a 'TV deal' with Storm. Like a few on tour, he feels you have to pay to play, so to speak...
Not saying this as gospel, just from talking to a couple of ball reps at some stops this year....
