I clean my stuff after every set. Dull or polished I use clean n dull. I have heard many voice their concerns that it may be too strong to use that often, but I have had no problems in the 2 years or so I have used it.

Totally agree with Ex. Clean & Dull is GREAT to use after every set, even on polished stuff.

After every 3 games on my dull GP2, I want to keep the cover on this ball in good shape for the heavier shots.

Since I use only polished solids and pearls, I only use it about once a month or so. If you bowl on "oil" regularly or use dull balls regularly, I can see the need for regular use of C&D. With the prices of balls these days and the sensitivity of some balls to decreased performance, "an ounce of prevention of worth a pound of cure"!!!

I clean my balls now with a orange citrus based cleaner and am surprised how much dirt and oil I get off the ball. Does Clean and Dull clean that much better and is it worth 8-9 times the cost of a citrus cleaner I can get for a $?

Hey shipper,

I also use a cleaner like yours in the shop but Clean and Dull really does get out more dirt and oil in comparison.  On top of that, it restores that tackiness to a cover very well.  You'd really have to try a bottle to see for yourself.

In regards to cost, I can't agree more with my good friend Charlest here...
