cleaning the rising

my rising is showing signs of dying out . I was just wondering what recommendations you all have for cleaning it. I currently use green scotch brite and powerhouse cleaner.

Clean and dull once a week   Power wash after each set   I never saw a ball die

If Clean and Dull does not help, sand it to 320 or 400 grit, put it in either a Rejuvenator at your local pro shop or give it a hot water bath (or drying cycle off dishwasher). Then refinish it back to its working surface.

If that doesn't work, talk to Rick (tenpinspro) or Carl (CG Pro Shop-Carl ).

Do not use a rejuvenator it will eventually damage your ball. It not only pulls out the oil but plastizer as well. The plastizer is what make a reactive ball hook as well as making the cover stock plyable. If to much plastizier is removed the cover stock will become brittle and can crack. Also you will void your warranty. The factory can tell if you have used a rejuvanator.

If you want a deeper cleaning than just ball cleaner, use the Hook Again treatment . Hot water bath will work also just don't use to hot of water.
