Columbia Scout vs Desert Heat?
« on: July 30, 2005, 08:09:11 AM »
Can anyone compare these two balls yet? I have a scout reactive and am looking at getting something else for lighter conditions.

Thanks,

O

nandosze,

The Desert and the Scouts are very similiar....but what I actually see the difference between them being is that the Desert does not move as strongly in the backend of the lane................and it hits harder than the Scouts.

The Desert is a very difficult bowling ball to explain....it rolls early (but not too early) and it does not have a ton of backend. It is extremely smooth throughout the lane for a reactive.
