Combo?
« on: April 25, 2005, 07:11:28 AM »
Just a general question for everyone to think about.

If you could pick any core and cover from the Track current line (no discontinued stuff)and match them up, what 2 would you pick?

My choices
COVER-Peak cover from the Arsenal Aggressive (keep it the same surface out of box)
CORE-GP2 core.

Since u didnt say Track only even though this is a track forum, i would take the cut throat coverstock from the Saw Blade, Big and Real Deal, and use teh core of the and the weight block from the Shock and Awe

Does your driller have much knowledge of the Morpheous core balls, their strengths, weaknesses, and how to match them to a bowler? Just asking since if he/she does not, then that could be part of your problem in the asymmetrical line.

If its any of the symmetricals, I would say match up the right ball to what you are seeing, with a drill that will work for you, and you should be able to find something in the line that will work for you. Too many good releases to not find something close to what you may like.

But, I do respect your opinion. Some people (like us Track staffers) don't (and can't) use any other companies, so I know where you are coming from.

FAZ Core with the Goo LS (Xception) cover.  I think that would be a pretty good combo.  Low RG matched up to a great resin cover.
