Yes I did accept a position with a local school district (back in Finance), benefits were too good to pass up plus we're trying to buy a house out here in Northern California. Average family home is going for about $600,000 in my area....Condo's are at $400K....just nuts.  I'm still running the shop at night and will probably have someone cover in the daytime.  Hey Cody, didn't you need a job?..

Damn, Rick!
Now you too have sold out to "The Man".
Letting a job and a need to support your family interfere with BOWLING???

But seriously,
Congrats! Benefits always do seem to sneak into the picture, don't they?

Congrats dude! School district eh? I'm guessing a lax dress code, if so, Score!
What's your 8-9hr work schedule at the school district? What time would you get into the shop? (6-7pm?)

Good Job!

Hey Rick, congrats on getting your new job. I note that you have said that you will probably "have someone cover in the daytime." How much training will it take to teach that selected person how to operate your Fischer Price Ball Hoist??????

HA!!  Your internal clock is all "humped" up!  It won't be long before you begin drilling 2 thumb holes for the fingers and 1 finger hole for the thumb

Congrats!!!  Time to convert to "Eastern Standard Time" ... HAHAHHAHAHHAHA  Better yet, I think you'll have someone picking you up in the morning... ROFLMBAO

Congratulations on getting a new job!!

...and WOW!  That's a lot for an average family home.  I think my house was only around $300,000 (CAD) for 2500 sq.ft.  I don't think we'll be moving anywhere in the States where you live if houses cost that much ... ugh ... the Canadian cold weather is getting to me, lol!

Hope to have you keep on posting on these forums, but do concentrate on your priorities.
