Title: Contender VS Unleashed

My Contender has around 1000 games on it.  I have not thrown it for two years since my house dried up the shot.  I am starting to shoot in some tournaments and need to have a heavy oil ball.  The contender still works well; so the question is how does the contender compare to the unleashed. I know they are not alike with different cores and covers, but in overall performance on heavy oil how do they match up. So anybody who has thrown both please speak up and let me know.

Funny you should ask.  I asked the very same question before I bought my Unleashed.  The Unleashed is by far a much better ball than the Contender.  My Contender was a great ball for heavier oil and the hitting power was top notch too, but the Unleashed hooks about 5-6 more boards (for me) in heavy oil and hits sooooo much harder than the Contender.  The Unleashed is a great investment and I'd recommend it to almost anyone.
