Curious if anything can be added
« on: March 30, 2004, 07:21:47 AM »
I possibly have the chance to get a new ball and didn't know if something was missing or if it would be better for me to get something that i can use in leagues to save these more for my tournaments
I HAVE

Animal pin right of ring cg kicked out and mb on VAL
crunchtime pin under ring and cg kicked right
crunchtime pin under middle finger and cg kicked farther right do see quite a difference between the two
Crunch drilled pin over bridge cg kicked right  a little
threat drilled pin over bridge cg in palm specs are in profile i think.  Just ask if more is needed to know.  curious bout ball suggestions or if that setup looks good

If you are using something to just use in your leagues, then you generally want a med-carrydown ball.  correct?!?

If so, try getting your hands on a Triple Threat or a Crash.  Something fun & low price.

This is just my opinion, but I think the logical ball to add to that (and yes, a dry heat does make sense) is the Havoc. I think that drilling this ball for a little bit of early roll with good midlane read would be ideal. This SHOULD give you a ball that is much less "flippy" than the CrunchTimes but slightly earlier than the Crunch. With the proper drilling this ball will be less than your Animal and probably would be the ball that you use to read the lanes with. Keep the drilling fairly simple, don't get too "exotic" with it. I would suggest the PIN below your ring finger, and the MB about 1 1/2 inches right of the thumb. NOW, with that said, so much of it will really depend your stats.....PAP, axis tilt etc...

Hi Stormer,

I personally think you're missing at least 2 balls from the Animal to your first CrunchTime.  You're going from a coverstock of mega fang to med resin.  There isn't any mid particle or strong resin here.  I do agree with Ex on the Havoc with a mild drill and maybe an Unleashed drilled similar with a lite coat of magic shine as well.  I don't know if your 1st CT can handle the transition on the lanes when your Animal becomes too much.  Just my thoughts...
