triton heat similarities
« on: March 03, 2004, 10:55:01 PM »
I pulled my wifes old 15 pound triton heat out of the closet and had it drilled up for me.  I bowl on med conditions (dry outside 10-5).  I also have the Gold Nugget.  The Heat out hit the Nugget by far.  It was carrying tens like no tomorrow.  The Heat went down the lane and turned left on command.

I noticed the Threat and Triple Threat are supposed to be similar (cores) to the Heat.  Is the Heat resin?  Because I notice that the Threat and Triple are particle.

Which Track would be a similar type ball to the Heat.  I throw the ball about 16-17MPH and have medium to low revs.

I actually prefered my Triton Heat to my Threat, which are very similar balls. I believe that the only difference between the two is the cover. The Triton is a resin ball while the Threat is a particle pearl.

The Thing from Dynothane uses the same core as the Heat and has a resin based cover. I have had both balls and they are pretty much the same ball.
