Crunchtime or Triplethreat

Hi
I am looking to replace my nautical blue Messengeer(stacked Leverage drilling) and I want either of the two above mentioned balls.  I also use a Pheno and despite the review I posted on it I love it and therefore I want to try another track ball.

Which ball would be better for playing a 6 board to 3.  The conditions we use have the first 4 boards dry and and then a big increase in oil until 20th board

Both are excellent balls but I agree with AUS leftie, go with the TT. The pearl particle will blend the pattern more and it's a good compliment to the Phenom.

i go with the tt, i believe both are one of the better stuff in thier line

but it oily of the dry , you have need the pearl part to turn the corner.

ct may give you slight over under

Can't go wrong with the TT.  I love mine.  What kind of player are you?  I mean, stroker, tweener, cranker?  That would help somewhat on a drilling tip.

Yeah Sorry , i am stroker with cranker tendecies, I get about 16 spins on the ball as it travels down the lane and throw at about 25 KM/h

Kilometers per hour x 5/8 (.625) = roughly, Miles per hour.
25 x .625 = 15.6

Hi sTaurinn,

Just to inform you that the TT is more of a skid/flip ball vs the Messenger.  If you're looking to replace the reaction of the Mess, I'd suggest something very mellow.  Either drill the pin above the bridge and cg stacked underneath it(even this may be too strong) or you can keep the pin in the same place but kick cg about 2 from pap.  This will help mellow it quite a bit and you may want to take the surface down so that it doesn't give you that much of a skid/flip look.  Hope this info helps or feel free to contact me if you have any other questions, thanks.

Thanx for your reply, I did decide with my coach that I will keep the Messenger for certain conditions, have the phenom for fresh and carrydown leage shot and then have the TT drillep up to go long and snap for when the heads start to fry up.  Also I was told that drilling the TT might be best drilled Label

Hi sTaurinn,

Drilling label is okay also, it will give you a different look then the Messenger.  If I'm correct, that Mess should be pretty stable roll throughout even picking up a little early with controlled backend.  That ball was somewhat even to begin with(w/ original coverstock).  The TT label drilled will still get you down the lanes on a med oil cond and turn pretty hard on the backend.  Hope this info is helpful...
