From what I have seen in limited time throwing the Cyborg Pearl (demo event), this ball is definitely a little more angular than the Rebel. The Rebel is a great rolling piece and I have seen various styles use this ball and is great for the medium patterns. The Rebel has a interesting ball motion - clean with a controlled skid/flip motion. Tends to be blended motion than most pearl balls when they tend to be sometimes too much skid/flip in the backends causing over/under sometimes...
I love both of these balls when I have to get in later during the transition period of bowling league / tourneys.... however, when I need control, I will use the Rebel and if I need a little more angle down the lane, I will be using the Cyborg Pearl (have 1 of these on order & getting soon). Again, both are great ball motions (different), but with my ball speed & rev rate, I tend to use smoother motion balls than angular as it is easier for me to control my breakpoint.
FYI... the Cyborg Pearl looks amazing with the Carmel / Smoke Grey colors.
