This is my story of spending a day with D Pat .....he came by Sat Nite to drill a few balls. He wasn't real familiar with my set up so I did it for him. He came by at 6pm like I asked and was there right on time except I was busy drilling a Rule Delta for a customer/friend. I got done around 7 and we started working on his equipment. After an hour or so with all my yakking and offering visuals on core orientation, weights, mass bias and etc, we started drilling his balls. *It's 8pm now and I've been busy all day, haven't had lunch yet*
We continue on drilling his next balls and I explained to him why his thumb looked like it went thru a meat grinder, his previous driller's teaching wasn't the best (as he learned), even told him that if marked cg is off, there's nothing you can do about it and that you can't find true cg on a scale...Doh! After learning "several" things that he was taught incorrectly, we change some pitches and oval his thumb to match for comfort.
*It's now going on 10pm and I still haven't had lunch yet* We continue working and I ask, "D Pat, may I have some lunch?" NO replies D Pat...DRILL my equipment shorty!
So I continue working.....
We keep going and finally get kicked out of the bowling center at 2am....and I get to go home. He's coming back Wed with 2 more balls....Somebody help!
Actually, D Pat a very nice person with pretty good knowledge (received mainly from here on BR). I hope he remembers what I've taught him and I lied about lunch, he let me eat 4 cold, dried up pieces of hot wings....See ya Wednesday D Pat!....even with your Asian hat picture of me....LOL
