Avenger - Hex - KO Punch
« on: February 01, 2004, 06:36:06 PM »
I just received these three balls used from a friend of mine and though I have a general idea of what to do with them, I'm still looking for suggestions.

With the Avenger, I think i'm going to go with a STRONG backend drilling, similar to Drilling 3 on the sheet (if you go to http://www.trackbowling.com/images/drillSheets/avenger.pdf you'll know what i'm talking about)

With the Hex I think i'm going to go with the 1st drilling on the sheet, something to get it a little down the lane with a little backend too.

Now the KO Punch i'm clueless about, I believe it's the KO Punch Pro that I have, but I could be mistaken.  It's a lighter green color with some swirls in the shell.  I'm clueless as to what this ball will do, whether it's flippy or smoother or whatever it may be.

Any info would be greatly appreciated and much thanks in advance.

The K.O Punch is a very smooth low RG ball.  It won't be flippy unless you have a strong drill with some polish on it.

Hey Loose,

Becareful with that Avenger, I had mine bcak then at 4x3 and it was a little jumpy still on the back.  It didn't like oil that much either, the Silencer came out as a stronger ball.  DP3 is correct on the KO Punch, dull cover, smooth roll.  The Hex is being compared to the CrunchTime per a lot of guys, good roll, reads the midlane and arcing backend.  Hope this helps.......
