carry problems with crunch
« on: February 23, 2004, 08:49:12 PM »
Hello I can not get this ball to carry when I throw it it overreacts or else it underreacts.  On pocket shots it leaves a lot of 10 pins.  It used to be an ok ball but it seemed to have died.  Has anyone else had their crunch die on them too and loose consistency and carry?

kincaid,

Im a Crunch fan all the way, and none of my Crunch's have died, nor, ever will!!(I have 2)
Naturally, a ball wont carry consistantly if it's rolled hard and straight into the pocket, or if it doesnt have a good angle into the pocket.
I can not assume what your style of play is, but as for the Crunch dying!? never...
Both of my Crunch's carry the whole rack...at times I would hang a 10 pin....but that's all only because of small reasons(speed, angle, execution).
That's my two cents...
Msg me if you have any other questions.

I've noticed a fall off in performance (carry, hook) with
my Crunch even after a recent resurfacing.
It rolled best after about 20 games, tracked
up quickly, resurfaced to box (1200) after
about 100 games.
