just drilled up my Delta today and it easily outhooks my 5.0 by 5-6 boards. All I can say is wow!!!!!!!! If you thought the original Rule was good, pick up one of these.
P.S. Thank to the Track gurus for the layout suggestions.

I have one coming what layout do you use pin x mb ??? Also box surface or changed??? Thanks
-
I got one from Revo drilled it pin right of ring, mb right of thumb about an inch......WOW! Very very stong! It's very close to the GP2 for me.

Mine was a beast as well and was very close to the GP2 drilled the same way. I am waiting for my next one to come in now.

I have to agree with the OOB finishes the Delta is very close to GP2-----so I did my own test on some lanes I triple oiled:
GP2 handles a higher volume of oil much better, the Delta does extremely well on med/heavy shots.
Keep one thing in mind when you compare these 2 balls, the GP2 comes 1500 smooth OOB and the Delta is 900grit smooth.

Can't agree more, the Delta is a beast. So long as there is some dry on the lanes, my Delta can grab and hook like there's no tomorrow. My tag team partner brings up a very good point, the surface difference on these balls OOB can make them appear close. When I took one of my GPs down to 600-800, it definitely grabbed sooner and faster in comparison.
This goes back to what we talk about here guys in relationship to "stored energy". The Delta has a resin cover so it can skid and store energy easier and better compared to particle. When that energy is released, look out!
I have a few vids for you guys, just need to find some web space....
On edit: twister, how did you end up laying this ball out, thanks.

I put the pin above the ring with the MB at 5 inches from my PAP. The CG was offline about an inch left so I didn't need any extra hole and I left it OOB. I am going to polish it up and see how it reacts. I may just leave it polished and drill another even stronger for the heavier oil.

Oh ya, the Delta 1 is a beast! It's like a Rule with more midlane with about the same backend (from my observations). I haven't really been able to compare them very well; they are drilled differently, the Rule is 14lbs vs. the Delta 1 which is 15lbs, and I've only used the Delta for 2 games and I threw the Rule only twice. They are drilled the same. Compared to the Xception, the Delta 1 is A LOT earlier and stronger overall. The ball is a monster!
